Basic Info Sanae Kochiya is a part-human part-god thanks to her sharing blood with the god Suwako Moiyra. She works as a shrine maiden for the Moiyra Shrine, caring to her gods Kanako and Suwako. Sanae innitially decended from the human world- and when her gods decided to move to Gensokyo to take advantage of the increase in faith- she came along too.
When first arriving, she was very exited about this fantasy world and went a ~little~ overboard on extermanating Youkai. But as she settled in and learned more about Gensokyo, she made friends with Reimu and Marisa and began to help in keeping the peace in Gensokyo.

Powers & Abilities
Sanae's special ability is to "cause miracles". Many of her spell cards are named after odd events, as she posesses the power to heighten the chance of any event with a small chance of happening. She mostly uses this to control the weather, and says that she can perform simple miracles by just saying the name, but the lower the chance of it happening the more time she needs to prepare.
Also as a shrine maiden, she can summon her patrons at will.

Personality
Sanae is determined, cheerful, and a bit of an airhead. She is very entertained by everything happening in Gensokyo, so much that she gets carried away and off track often from her pure exitement. She seems to always be intrested in learning more about her opponents and her new home. This nerdy personality also caused her to have a great intrest in science and some pop culture tidbits such as mecha anime and video games, that she is all too happy to talk about. Unfortunately, her exitement is often met with confusion.
